Mom and Dad came up for New Year’s to celebrate Christmas and to spoil our children. We had a great time hanging out watching the boys play and my Dad got to spend lots of snuggle time with the boys. Jake worked my Dad for anything he wanted by just saying “Hi Papa” whenever he deemed it appropriate. And it worked.
There were lots of books read, especially Chuggington, Jared’s new favorite, and because it had trains in it, there was no way my Dad would say no to reading it!
I talked my mom and Dad into buying me a steak dinner on the Eve and we went out while the babies slept and then tried to play a few slot machines but nothing was paying us for our $4.00 investment!
The boys got matching Snoopy sweatshirts from Great Grandma. Haven’t gotten a picture of them together yet but here they are separately.
It was a great New Year’s and our family is looking forward to 2012!
