A week of constant coaching finally paid off. I swear, every 10 minutes I was asking Jared what we say when we go to neighbors doors on Halloween. After a couple days of him being convinced we are supposed to say “SURPRISE!” He finally changed his mind and began with Trick-or-treat.
They both said Thank You and Happy Halloween and Jake added a “Bye, See You Yater!”
This, was by far, the best Halloween yet. So much fun. There was no crying, no fighting, no yelling! No one fought over who got to ring the doorbell, no one fought over candy, everyone stayed on the sidewalk and it was just so much fun! I loved it and can’t wait until next year.
Uncle Peter came in full war gear to Trick-Or-Treat with us!
Our first stop was Auntie Sandie’s house.
They got their own special bag of treats!
A little snuggle with Joshy and off we went!
He had a mouth full of licorice and beg me to open the lollipop. Then 5 minutes later, he came over to me, grabbed my hand, and spit out the licorice, and began eating the lollipop. Sweet kid he is. At least he didn’t hide it in the toy box.
