What We Did On Our Thanksgiving

We had a very uneventful Thanksgiving here.  We chose not to follow the family to a buffet dinner at the casino, mostly due to the fact that Jared has asthma and shouldn’t be in a smoky casino, so we hung out at our house most of the day.  We had grand plans to order some chinese food, but they were closed.  Bummer.  I made a darn good cheesecake though.  That was nice. We spent a couple hours at Scotty’s mom and dad’s house before they left for dinner, and Grandma was setting up Christmas.   Saturday, Grandma is cooking us a turkey and we are having family Thanksgiving at the house, so that will be nice.  I can’t go a whole Thanksgiving and not have turkey!

 

Earlier in the morning, Jared spent a while just being naked, since he has some horrible baby butt rash now.  I think he actually liked it!

 

Then he spent some time in the bathtub.  That’s his favorite thing!  Daddy puts him in the bath lots of times during the day!

 

Then we worked on our standing skills!  He gets so proud of himself when he stands!

 

Jared helped Auntie Sandi put the first ornament on the gold tree.  He did a wonderful job!

 

Cousin Joshy found a sleigh for Jared to sit in.  He thought it was just the best!

 

Jared worked hard trying to pull down an ornament.

He kept trying and trying!

Oh!  He got it!  

 

We are very thankful this year to have a wonderful little family.  Jared is happy and healthy and we are very blessed to have him everyday.
