Christmas this year was so much fun. I think Christmas means a little more when you have kids. It was so fun to watch Jared take it all in, trying to stretch out his time between all his toys, fight his naps and chase the cats all day. Jared was so excited to see all his new toys, while Mommy and Daddy cringed when we heard how much noise they make! We spent the day at Scotty’s mom and dad’s house with the whole family. Our nephews had a great time playing with Jared, and I even broke down and played “credit card Monopoly” with Joshy and Drew. Did you know they make that game now where you swipe your credit card to buy properties instead of using the play money? There is just something wrong with that. This was a wonderful day, and the only Christmas Jared will ever have to spend as an only child. We are looking forward to next year with two babies!
