Not sure why we have so many toys and distractionary (is that really a word?) items for this child of ours. He is more than happy to play with household items, and chooses them over anything else.
SUCH AS…
special bouncy balls with texture to help you learn what things feel like – INSTEAD - tennis balls that the dog chews on and fetches.
fancy magnets for the fridge door that sing songs – INSTEAD - the cabinet with the soy milk and plastic bags stored in it.
fancy toys in the living room – INSTEAD - the tupperware drawer in the kitchen
the toy remote that makes 80 different sounds – INSTEAD - the real remote to our tv
playing with your bath toys that take up the entire shower – INSTEAD - playing with the faucet the entire time
real food – INSTEAD - cat food
mobiles – INSTEAD - ceiling fans (when you were itty bitty)
giving mommy kisses – INSTEAD - a slap in the face and running away
baby blankets that people made or gave us – INSTEAD - the cheap blanky from Walmart I bought in the household section
your own shoes – INSTEAD – everyone else’s shoes
rooms with your toys – INSTEAD – the bathroom to play in the toilet or unroll the toilet paper

Yay, Jared! I can only imagine what the tahoe cabin will look like after all of them get ahold of the place :)
