Sunday Funday

It’s hard to figure out how to keep our kids busy every day.  Scotty and I try to get creative during the “after nap time” part of the day.  We often spend our “free time” (the hours from noon to 2:30) pondering this question.

We go to the grocery store when there is a heat wave just so we can be in some extreme air conditioning and be out of the house at the same time. 

We go to Petco and pretend it’s the zoo.

We find a reason to drive 15 minutes up the road to Home Depot because it’s important to keep our credit card active there.  Although, I am not allowed in there unsupervised, or we may have a new kitchen on order. 

But what’s better than a little backyard patio time with a little bit of sprinkler play thrown in for good measure?  I mean, they both have bad colds so getting them soaked with cold water then letting them run around is exactly what the doctor would tell us to do.
