So the bills have started rolling in for the birth of Jared. Here’s what they have consisted of:
$22,652.29 – hospital charge for myself
$3,173.00 – Dr. charge
$1,600.00 – Anestesia
$793.00 – another Dr. charge
Grand Total of $28,218.29
But that is not the end of it all….my wonderful son has hospital charges also. Apparently it cost us $3,178.83 for Jared also. $2,000 of it was a “room charge.” Not quite sure why they have to charge that much when we shared the same room and he didn’t even use a bed! Since we were at the hospital for 4 days, our pediatrician came in to exam Jared every day. Well, we got charged, obviously, for each exam. But if we were only there for like 2 days, then she would have only seen him twice, so it would have been cheaper! They should have given us a break since it wasn’t our choice to be there so long!
At least we will have a HUGE tax write off next year.

Wow! I didn't know how much c-sections were. Mine was 1/3 of that. But he's totally worth that and much more:)
