Happy 4 Month birthday, Jake! You are such a sweet, mellow, adorable little guy. You just have this nice personality and nothing ruffles your feathers. You are so calm and happy, and the best part is that you LOVE to snuggle. I take you into bed with me every night at about 8:00, and you sleep there until Daddy feeds you at 10:00 then he puts you down for the night.
You have learned to sleep all night now. You sleep from about 10:15pm and you wake up anytime between 5:30 and 6:15 in the morning. Once you started to pack on some pounds, you slept so much better. We never had to do the “cry it out with you” because you aren’t fussy at all. You only woke up before because you needed a little snacky snack from Mama.
You LOVE your brother. You will just sit there and giggle and laugh at him. Then that makes him laugh, and then you laugh because he is laughing. It’s my most favorite thing to watch.
You have become so patient with Jared. He climbs on you, gives you kisses, helps burp you, and grabs your hands to play. You just sit there and let him maul you and you don’t make a sound. I think you secretly like it.
You LOVE looking at yourself in the mirror. Every time you see yourself you get this huge smile on your face. Then you start to giggle so much that you shake and squeak. It’s so funny. I could sit in front of a mirror with you for hours.
You found your voice this month. For a while there, we thought you were this quiet little baby. But you proved us wrong. You are LOUD. You talk and talk and tell us all your stories. You have so much to tell us. I really enjoy listening to you because your voice is just the cutest. You get all excited talking to us too.
You LOVE the TV. We watch a lot of it together. Just like your brother, the Real Housewives series are your favorites. There is just so much drama that it’s addicting.
You learned to roll the other day. Guess leaving you on the couch unattended is a bad idea now :)
We love you more than anything and I can’t imagine our life without you.
